HTC posts timeline for Ice Cream Sandwich update for HTC Rezound (June-July), Thunderbolt (July-August) and more

HTC has released a list of devices that are scheduled to receive the infamous Android 4.0 update. It is looking good for handsets like the HTC Rezound, HTC Rhyme, HTC EVO 3D and few others (list below) because they’re all getting ICS by the month of July or before. If you’re an HTC Thunderbolt owner, your phone will be updated between the months of July and August. The HTC Incredible 2’s update date will be determined by the end of August.

If you own the HTC Flyer, HTC EVO View 4G and HTC Jetstream (AT&T’s LTE tablet) tablets, HTC mentions that you will “remain on the current Android version (Honeycomb).”

HTC added that devices with 512MB or less will not get the Ice Cream Sandwich update. “Qualified” phones will receive Android 4.0.3 packed with HTC Sense 3.6 instead of the Sense 4.0 due to hardware limitations. For more information, hit the source link.

Is anyone excited?
