The HTC vs. Apple fight isn’t over and unfortunately the first round has gone in favor of the Cuppertino-based phone manufacturer. The ITC has just ruled the Taiwanese company guilty of two patent infringements out the of the ten that have been originally filed. The patents in questions here are 5,946,647 and 6,343,263.
HTC responded that they will “vigorously fight these two remaining patents through an appeal before the ITC commissioners who make the final decision.”In the event of the U.S. Trade Commission finding The Taiwanese phone manufacturer guilty, we may see a ban on U.S. imports of some Android-powered HTC phones.
This fight isn’t over yet folks because HTC has the right to appeal and let’s not forget that Google is on the hunt for patent lawyers. You know that means that this is only the beginning!
