HTC Evo 4G LTE RUU file now available to download

Although the Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE isn’t launching today anymore due to the whole US Customs situation that it found itself in, that didn’t stop the phone’s RUU file from being made available for all to download. XDA Developer user Football has gone ahead and posted the latest RUU file for the upcoming HTC flagship device on Sprint.

For those of you who aren’t aware, an RUU file for HTC phones is comparable to SBF files for Motorola phones; they are image for the particular phone. Mostly used by developers, it’s nice to keep a copy around when you start getting into the habit of flashing custom roms. In the event that things go really bad, you should be able to flash the RUU file to restore your phone to stock state.

So, if you’re interested, go ahead and grab this latest RUU for the HTC EVO 4G LTE and hope that it gets released from US Customs soon!
