Today, Google released version 19 of their popular Chrome desktop browser. With this updated version of the stable release, you are now able to sync your open tabs across your devices. Started reading something at home on your desktop, continue reading it on your phone using Chrome for Android beta while you commute to work. Feeling too lazy to go get your phone to continue reading that awesome article, simply open up Chrome 19 on your desktop and continue reading it there.

While this feature was made available on the developer channel a few weeks ago, this is the first time that it has been made available on the stable channel of Chrome.

For your open tabs to sync across your devices, you must be using Chrome for Android on your smartphone or tablet and Chrome 19 on your desktop. In addition to using the sweet browser, you must also be signed in order for things to sync.

On your mobile click the “other devices” option under menu to bring up tabs you have open on other devices. On your desktop computer, simply open a new tab and click the “other devices” link on the bottom of the page.

If you haven’t been using Chrome, now might be the time to give it a shot! You can download Chrome on your computer at www.google.com/chrome and on your Android device from the Google Play store.
