Free BlackBerry PlayBook offer extended until March 2nd

Earlier this month, RIM announced that it was going to be giving away BlackBerry PlayBooks to Android developers who submitted their Android apps to be including in BlackBerry’s App World. According to RIM, the program has generated a lot of interest. So far, over 1,500 apps have been submitted as of last Friday, and over 6,600 developers registered in the BlackBerry App World storefront.

RIM is now extending the offer to native C/C++, HTML5, Adobe Air, and QT developers. All developers will have until 11:59PM EST on February 15, 2012 to register as a BlackBerry App World vendor. All vendors will then have until 11:59PM EST on March 2, 2012 to submit their application to BlackBerry App World.

If approved, you can score yourself a free 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook. For complete details, check out the offer’s FAQ page and read the terms and conditions.
