Fix to resolve Toshiba Thrive standby issues on the way

There is a major problem happening to the Toshiba Thrive, and its owners aren’t happy about it all. The Thrive, which has been available for only a few days is experiencing problems waking up from sleep. Many Thrive owners have flocked to Toshiba’s support forums to discuss the trouble they’ve been having with their new Android 3.0 tablet. According to many reports, the tablet is having a hard time waking up from sleep mode, and often, a hard reset is required in order to make the tablet functional again.

I would be upset, too, if my tablet needed to be reset each time I wanted to use it after a short period of inactivity. Toshiba has acknowledged the problem and are working on a resolution. There’s no ETA on when the fix will be available, but Thrive owners, hang in there. It’s coming.
