Verizon and Motorola are on the verge of releasing the Droid Turbo. Along with the previous leak showing the actual phone, we now have it showing up at GFXBench. GFXBench is a benchmark tool used to measure graphics performance, render quality and power consumption.
The 3D graphic performance results show the Droid Turbo to run on Android 4.4.4 and have the following features:
- 5.2-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution
- Snapdragon 805 CPU
- Adreno 420 GPU
- 3GB of RAM
- 20MP rear camera with AutoFocus
- 2MP rear camera
- 21GB of available internal storage (possibly 32GB all together)
Judging by its name, this phone will likely come with the newly announce Turbo charger – which is said to charge the new Moto X in less than 15 minutes. The Droid Turbo will have a Kevlar-like backing and possible wireless charging, according to Droid Life. We have yet to hear from Motorola or Verizon about this device. We’ll keep you updated. Is anyone considering it over the X?
