Check out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on the Samsung Galaxy S III

The guys at SamMobile have obtained a test firmware of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy S III. According to SamMobile, the OTA update is set to begin rolling out at some point towards the end of the month or the beginning of next month. So far, SamMobile has noticed these new features:

  • New Jelly Bean clock
  • A function called “Dormant mode”
  • Google Now accessibly by hitting the search button
  • New live wallpapers
  • The ability to reboot into safe mode

Of course there are more features available in Jelly Bean, and they will also be available on the GSIII once it is updated. If you’re feeling brave, you can go ahead and try out the new rom by following the instructions on the source site below.
