Camera Launcher app adds much-needed function to the Nexus 7

by Zack NebbakiJuly 20, 2012

With your Nexus 7 all unwrapped and ready to go, you have probably been wondering about a way to access the camera application. For some reason, Google/ASUS forgot to include a shortcut making a pain in the you-know-what to take snapshots. Some of you were probably forced to install apps like Instagram, Skype or Facebook in order to use the camera.

Well known developer MoDaCo released an application called Nexus 7 Camera Launcher which lets you add a launcher icon of the tablet’s camera. While it is only a 1.2MP front camera, it will sure come handy if you want to take pictures and videos. Head to the Play Store (links below) and give it this must-have app a try.
