Black version of the Samsung Galaxy S III is on the way, according to recent pictures and inventory data

Those of you who were hoping for Samsung to release a black version of the Galaxy S III could be in luck. As you probably know, the Galaxy S III was only released in two colors, pebble blue and white. While many hoped for a black version, they had to settle for the lesser of the two unwanted, the pebble blue.

It looks like things might be changing and that Samsung could be in the process of releasing a black version of the popular device. Samsung recently released some pictures of what appears to be a black Galaxy S III on their Facebook page. In addition, a new screenshot from Carphone Warehouse’s inventory system shows a listing for a black Galaxy S III. The cropped Carphone Warehouse inventory image shows the black Galaxy S III along with the blue and white version listed in their system.

Of course, the new color hasn’t been announced yet, so there’s no telling when it will be available for consumers to purchase, or which carriers will offer the device.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m hoping that Samsung releases this black version of the Galaxy S III soon. As a matter of fact, this color should have been offered in the first place!
