According to a leaked snapshot from Gamestop’s internal systems, The Asus Transformer Prime will launch on December 19, 2011. Pre-orders have already started on their site and they actually have two different SKUs for the quad-core equipped tablet with two different release dates, December 9 and 19. On the other hand, Newegg has currently the Transformer Prime scheduled for a Dec. 8 launch date. ASUS has scheduled a special event for the beginning of December. We’re not sure what Gamestop is trying to do here by listing the Transformer Prime with two different launch dates.
