If you own a 3G version of the Motorola Xoom and live in the UK, you might want to check your device for an OTA update. The 3G version of the Motorola Xoom in the UK is finally in the process of getting its much-anticipated update to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. This ICS update comes more than one month after the Wi-Fi version of the Xoom in the UK began receiving its ICS update.
While it’s good news that this update is finally available, the waiting game now begins again, this time for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Wi-Fi version of the Xoom in the U.S. recently received its Jelly Bean update. We’re sure that Google and Motorola are working hard to bring the update to other Xoom devices. It’s just a matter of time. Hopefully it won’t take too long.
So, if you’re 3G Xoom owner in the UK, go to Settings > About tablet > Software updates, and download the ICS update for your Xoom today.
