Analyst: Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx outsells the iPhone 4S on Verizon Wireless during Q2

According to analyst Anil Doradla from William Blair, things are looking good for Motorola’s RAZR Maxx on Verizon Wireless. For the first time since the iPhone’s launch in the United States, this is the first time that another phone has outsold it on a single carrier during a quarter. You can thank the Razr Maxx’s amazing 3300mAh battery for helping it sell the iPhone 4S. Unfortunately, there are no sales figures available and none of this has been confirmed by Verizon Wireless.

Anil believes that Apple will regain the top spot at Verizon Wireless when they announce the next version of the iPhone, which is expected to be a 4G LTE device. When it comes to the other carriers, the iPhone still remains the top dog. Coming in third at Verizon Wireless was the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the first phone running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
