Adobe Flash Player for Android receives security update

If you use Flash Player on your Android device, you might want to head over to the Android Market and grab the latest update. Adobe has released an update for Flash Player on Android that addresses a vulnerability that could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of an affected system. While it sucks that Adobe isn’t developing new versions of Flash for Android (and we won’t be getting it on Google Chrome for Android), it’s nice to see them continue to support flash in terms of patching it when necessary.

So, if you haven’t already, head over to the Android Market and download the Adobe Flash Player update today.
