Adobe Flash Player 10.2 for Android now available in Android Market

Version 10.2 of Adobe’s Flash Player is now available to download in the Android Market. You can download Flash Player 10.2 on your Android device if you’re running Android 2.2 (Froyo), 2.3 (Gingerbread), or 3.0 (Honeycomb). For phones running Android 2.2 and 2.3, this is the official release. For devices running Android 3.0 (currently only the Motorola Xoom), this Flash Player version is only a beta version. Once Flash Player is fully ready for Honeycomb, it will take full advantage of hardware acceleration in order to speed up displaying Flash content.

This new version of Flash will deliver better performance and improved soft keyboard support on devices running Android 2.2 and 2.3. If you’re running Android 3.0, you will see a major improvement over the version of Flash that was leaked late last week.
