HTC and Verizon released an update last month to address 3G connectivity and GPS issues. This update also brought its share of issues to the HTC handset causing the device to randomly reboot. HTC and Big Red responded to their customers by saying that they are working on a solution to this “reset issue“.
According to an internal memo, Verizon is instructing its employees to tell Thunderbolt users that there is no short-term “resolution” for the issue at this moment and that a maintenance fix is on the way, scheduled for the second half of June 2011.Verizon will also let you exchange your phone if the reboot issue has become really annoying and you can’t take it anymore.
