Here is to a great a 2016 year to you and yours! May the force be with you and don’t forget to Praise Duarte!
The use case for a simple and smart way to monitor your front door could not be more relevant than right now. With online Holiday shopping at an all time high, you want to know when your packages arrive.
I have been using the Ring video doorbell for quite a while now. I was a skeptic at first. Why would I need or want to see who is at my door when I am not home? Why would I want to be able to communicate with them? Keeping track of Holiday deliveries is just one helpful way Ring proves to be very useful. If Ring sounds familiar, you probably remember seeing them on Shark Tank.
Initial setup and installation was very easy. No need to hire an [...]
If you have been waiting for get a discount on the Nexus 6P, today is the the day. Google is now offering its best phone with a discount of $50 off. For example, you can get the 32GB model for $449 instead of $499. On top, you will get free overnight shipping which is the cherry on top of the cake.
At $50 off, I definitely recommend getting the Nexus 6P. Not only you get the purest Android experience available but you also get an awesome camera. It packs Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 12.3MP front camera, 8MP rear camera, 3,450 mAh battery, fingerprint reader, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and so much more. And if you like to have peace of mind, get the Nexus Protect Warranty [...]
Today we take a look at the new Fossil Q Founder Smartwatch. Fossil is only one of two watch makers to produce an Android Wear powered wearable. And guys, this one is really nice. It feels like an actual watch and I really can’t stop staring at it.
Upon opening the box, you will find the watch, Qi wireless charging pad, a microUSB cable, wall charger and the manual. The charging base is unlike any other I have seen. It is placed in a small leather cushion which gives it a nice premium look. The only downside is that you can’t just drop the watch on it like you would do if you had Moto 360 charger. I can confirm that you can use the Moto charger to charge [...]
I have been texted countless times asking my opinion on what new phone people should be buying this Holiday season so I figured I would make it easy and just compile my list here. Wouldn’t want to actually pick up the phone and discuss or use my unlimited text messaging package, ya know?
#1 Hand Down BEST smartphone to buy this Holiday Season: Google Nexus 6P
It’s a Nexus. Straight from Google. Always first for updates and the latest software from Google. Lightning fast. The way Android was meant [...]
I have the opportunity to use and test the Ring Video Doorbell and I finally have it set up! I will be testing out all of the features and will share soon! I will also share my thoughts on the setup, features, and usability! Stay Tuned!
I just came here to say that I am tired of these videos showing that the Nexus 6P can “easily break.” Yes, I am fan of the phone and I own one. Crappy videos like the one JerryRigEverything published are a complete waste of time.
In case you haven’t seen it yet, this guy bent 2 Nexus 6P phones is 2 separate videos. His first attempt he showed how easily it is to bend the phone by intentionally applying enough force to do so. He basically did the same thing in his second video to show us yet again that it breaks.
We get it, the Nexus 6P bends and so does almost every other phone out there if you intentionally want to do it.
USB Type C cables are the future, but right now things can get a little confusing. Android smartphone users have been using the same standard micro USB cables for years. With Nokia, OnePlus, and now the 2 most recent Nexus devices from Google switching over to the USB-C, get ready to replace your old cables soon and into 2016. USB-C provides faster charging, faster data transfer, and its reversible so it can be inserted in either direction. I would anticipate most 2016 flagship devices will be making the transition. For the differences in USB types, both because they did a nice job explaining and because I do not care to do it myself to be honest, check out this CNET [...]
Nexus 6P #HYPE is at its peak folks. People who ordered the phone within the first hours of the pre-order page going live, are seeing changes in their order statuses. My credit actually just got charged of the full amount of a Nexus 6P 32GB in aluminum.
A Reddtior is reporting that the Google Store may start shipping the phone as early as tomorrow (according to a chat transcript). Sadly, the folks who ordered after September 29 are seeing delivery dates in the first week of November or later. It should’t be too long, hang in there.
And if you are one of the lucky ones who got the order status change, make sure you have a FedEx Delivery Manager account [...]
Blackberry’s take on Android with the new Blackberry Priv is in full effect. You can pre-order it from the US online shop for the price of $749 (Canada is $949) – that’s a bit higher than most flagship Android devices. Shipping is said to start on November 16 of this year.
Specs are also official now. The Priv packs as 5.4-inch QHD display (540 DPI), 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 808 processor, 32GB of internal storage with microSD storage of up to 2TB, 18MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 3410 mAh battery and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
We’re assuming that the $750 price tag is warranting the fact that this phone comes with to notch security and the sliding [...]
If you haven’t ordered the Nexus 6P yet, you are out of luck. The US Google Store is out of them. All the colors and storage options are no longer available for pre-order. Only the Aluminum color was the last one to be in stock until today.
You do have another option though, Huawei’s online store. They also offer a payment option too. Judging from waht I have been reading at Reddit, they will be shipping phones from multiple hubs here in the US.
I placed my order minutes after the announcement and I have a estimated shipping date of October 27. How about you?
Edit: 32GB aluminum is back in stock.

If you base your phone purchase on specs, the HTC One A9 is what you can call a mid-range phone. It certainly doesn’t have the high end components that the One M9, Galaxy S6 or LG G4 have. With that said, the fact that it can easily be unlocked and faster updates, can be a good enough reason for some of you to pick one up. It does look like a mixture of the Apple phone and a Galaxy S4 or S5.
The most intriguing version of the A9 is the unlocked one. Not only you won’t void your warranty if you unlock the bootloader but you also get the Uh Oh accidental damage protection. You can pre-order it right now along with the AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint models for [...]
